Noel D Page is an Australian author whose vivid imagination, curiosity, and eye for detail have shaped a lifetime of storytelling. From an early age, he combined fiction with lived experience while exploring creative pursuits including abstract art, photography, building, and design.

His life has taken him from a cottage farm in the Adelaide Hills to journeys across Australia, where adventure, changing landscapes, rivers, and unexpected experiences continued to fuel his creativity. Along the way, Noel also worked in architecture, historic restoration, building, project coordination, and facilities management—experiences that strengthened his resourcefulness and unique perspective.

Today, Noel lives in Queensland’s Noosa Biosphere Region, where the river and surrounding natural environment provide an inspiring setting for his greatest passion: creative writing. Through independent publications and ongoing projects, he continues to create stories shaped by exploration, imagination, resilience, and a lifetime of experience.

Echoes of Araluen takes me in many directions as it shares a German father’s desperate search for his missing daughter, and when Hans garners help from locals, Rat, Sam, and Inca, they set off in Sam’s houseboat downriver to find the commune Utopia. When Rat disappears, the remaining three make for the destination with secret information. From there, many unprecedented events unfold, leaving the reader with emotions of happiness, acceptance, betrayal, and grief as the story progresses. The story left me hanging at the end. A great story and easy read.
